Sadie and myself headed down to the forks last weekend to go for a REAL horse ride. Because of the sign "you must be this tall to ride" we decided to bring our dad's and mom's along for the trip! We saw lots of people and some BIG BIG horses!

Wow...... I have been such a busy girl these days now that I am one! I had my 2nd Christmas and got to see so may people and even liked playing with all my cousins new toys.

I am 1 year old and a big girl now! I had my FIRST birthday party on Saturday and family and friends came over. I played and had a house full of people big, tall, small and even a new baby, it was a cool party and I thank you all for coming. I EVEN GOT CAKE and the best part is I ate it too!

Halloween!!! what nobody told me that if I got dressed up I get candy! I vote every day should be dress up day and I can be all types of cute things. Did I say cute, ya I'm cute as a little Nemo!

I am now 11 months old and getting close to walking. I love to crawl every where and starting to climb on things. Daddy and me hung out last sunday and we did lots of dress up in all my favorite clothes. Guess mom never picked out these ones.

Daddy has been working in the yard getting all ready for the snow, but he let me play in the leaves and Mommy got me this cool costume for Halloween! trick or treat smell my feet.

Hi, Things have been a bit crazy around here since back from Toronto. Mommy's birthday was on the 7th of September and daddy had lots of friends and Family here to party with here. Mommy sure was surprised to who showed up ( really every body came to see me, but lets not tell mom! )

Toronto in Style

I got to go to my first wedding on August 7th for mommy's old friend Renae and Robert. The wedding was in Toronto and daddy, mommy and me flew in a airplane there. I even took my first ride in a limo to our hotel. The wedding was very nice and Renae was so very pretty in her dress. I got to meet a lot of people and even sat at a big chair for dinner. We went shopping at Eaton center and H&M where we found lots of clothes for me. Friends invited us to their hotel for a swim and I got to play with daddy in the pool. He splashed me and I jumped in the water and had so much fun that day. I even got to spend the night sleeping at the airport when our flight was canceled back home because of a very big storm. I even had my first french fry and a Wolfgang Puc burger there.

Road Trip to Fargo

Sadie and I decided to take a road trip on July 31st, Daddy got us a Trailblazer from work and the two of us headed down the hi-way to Fargo. Seeing how I was not going to trust my life to Sadie's driving we thought it best to bring our moms and Grandma Davis to look after us. We had a great time shopping and the hotel even had a pool. I love the water, guess that is why my life is on a Lily pad

Amma's Birthday Party

Mommy and Daddy had a party for Amma on the 29th of July for her birthday that was the 28th she turned 39 years old :). It was a fun day, Auntie Dayna and Lucas were there along with my second cousins Tammy and Belinda. There really cool girls that made me laugh and they talk loud too!

July 28th was a big day for me! Mommy took me to Costco and I got to ride in the shopping cart like a big girl. Mommy also been teaching me some new word's. "DADDY VISA"

BACK FROM THE ROAD TRIP

Back from Dauphin and I was very happy to see Daddy, he came from work to meet me at home. Even though the weather was a little sour I was able to visit with lots of people and hang out with my BFF Sadie she even taught me what a moon is. While Mommy went golfing with Grandpa, Nana and Auntie B. Grandma Davis and GGB ( Great Granny Balabuch ) read stories and played with Sadie and I. We were both good girls and I cant wait to get back to Dauphin soon.

Mommy and me are still up in Dauphin, the weather has been great all weekend so were going to stay a couple of extra days. Daddy's friends came for a visit from Saskatoon and I missed meeting Kloey and her brothers Kyle and Kasey. Next time they come I should be able to run around in the park with her!

My older cousins Kara and Jocelyn from the USA even came to Winnipeg after I left dauphin because they could not get enough of my smile. We all meet at Sadie's and had lots of fun!

The beach was the best time off all, I love my pool back home but the cold water of the lake might take a little while to get used to. The puppies loved the water and chased every thing that was thrown out in the cold water.

I went to Dauphin with mommy and daddy and the whole family was there. I was all geared up for Countryfest 2009 as I wanted to see Tim McGraw and Doc Walker. From what I over heard daddy saying I cant go till I am 30, so they went and I stayed at Grandma's

The Manitoba marathon happened near the end of June and Daddy best get training to run next summer as I love it when Sadie and Lukas race every where they go! Till then mommy will have to carry me where I want to go!

Mommy has hard her first mothers day, Grandma and Grandpa Place came to visit from Nova Scotia and were here for a big party.

In a couple of weeks I will turn 8 months old. So many great things have happened to me in this short span of my life. I learnt how to sleep through the night, I hold my own bottle. I have mastered they moves to wrap dad around my little finger. I have gone so many places with mommy, Elkhorn resort, BC, Dauphin and the beach ( not sure if I like that water yet ). Mommy has taken me to Kinder Music and reading class at the library and I have been having so much fun.

I have done a little Jet setting already in my life. Spent a week in NEW YORK (in mommy's tummy) and mommy, GGB and me went to BC to visit some family there as well and I was only 2 months old then.

Now there is something I should tell you before I get to far into this blog stuff. My daddy and Auntie Jen are a little camera crazy. OK they are more like camera freaks, dad used to photograph for the Free Press and Auntie Jen should be taking pictures full time as she has a great eye for really cool pictures. Wow! Nobody told me I was going to live in Winterpeg, I spent 5 days inside all nice and warm and then they took me home in the cold. I was so excited when I got home I forgot about the cold, you see mommy picked out all this nice stuff for my room and daddy painted it and put everything together to make me feel like a special little girl!

5 days later I checked myself out called Mommy and Daddy and headed home. Daddy had a fun time trying to put me in the car seat and get me ready to leave. Daddy is smart man and in no time he had me safe and secure and the three of us headed out the door for home ( I even got to wear some pink )

Start of my life

My Name is Lily Elle Place and I was born to Keith Place and Lori Davis (daddy and mommy hehehe ) November 21, 2008 in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Coming into this world was a little ruff for me as I had a hard time with my breathing and the great doctors made sure I had plenty of air and even hooked me up to a bunch of funny wires. I spent 5 days in ICU with mommy by my side and daddy coming to visit me every day. Even though I was only to have 4 visitors lots of people came to meet me. There was Aunty Jenn ( she was with mommy and daddy the whole time mommy was in labour 17 hrs hehe :) and was there to meet me when I was born) and GGB along with Amma waited in the waiting room the whole time too! Grandma Davis was in Montreal but she got to the hospital in time to see me. Uncle Patrick came from Dauphin with Grandpa Davis, Nana and Aunty Bertha to meet me as well. Aunty Dayna came to visit me and with the rest of them got to see me in ICU before any other of my friends did. Daddy kept taking lots of pictures so friends of theirs that came by could see me as they could not come in the ICU.
